iPhone 6S LCD and iPhone 6S Plus screen price go up on August 2016. Many customers are sensitive about the price, they really want to know why the iPhone LCD price rise and when will it go down. Actually, not only iPhone screen price rise, other Samsung mobile screen, Sony screen, LG screen price also go up. And we belive the price won't go down in a short period.
The first reason for the iPhone 6S Screen price go up is the shortage of LCD. As we know, LCD is the most important part in a screen. Currently, there are 2 kinds of LCD in the maket, original LCD and Chinese LCD. Original LCD is from refurbished iPhone, it is good quality but always not enough. Chinese factory produce enough LCD for iPhone, such as Tian Ma, Long Teng, Jing Dong Fang, but they are weak in quality. The main problem is, currently, Chinese factory can only produce LCD for iPhone 5/5S/5C/6/6+, they can't produce LCD for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus. So iPhone 6S and 6S Plus screen can only use those refurbished LCD. When it is out of stock, the screen price go up. On july, Samsung and Sharp closed their LCD factory, they start to produce new OLED for iPhone 8. This make the LCD for iPhone 6S and 6S plus out of stock in the market, so the screen price rise.
The second reason for screen price go up come from Chinese government. As we know, almost all mobile screens and repair parts are from China Shenzhen. In beginning of August, Chinese govenment make a new polite, they check the copy or inlegal product more strickly than before. Many shops and factorys are forced to be closed as they can't sell Samsung/Sony/Apple parts who has logo. This also cause iPhone screen price go up.
In my opinion, the situation will go on for several months. If material are always out of stock, the iPhone Screen price will continue rising.
